The Doc Adams Birthplace Classic took place Saturday, September 24 in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire and marked the debut of The Knickerbocker Experience at the event. On September 24, the Doc Adams Birthplace Classic will be held in Doc’s hometown as part of Lamson Farm Day. Daniel Lucius ‘Doc’ Adams was born in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire on November 1, 1814 to Daniel Adams, MD and Nancy Mulliken Adams. He and his family lived there until 1846 when they moved to Keene, New Hampshire. The 25th installment of the Annual Doc Adams Old Time Base Ball Festival will take place tomorrow and Sunday, August 6-7, at Old Bethpage Village Restoration. In 2015, this longest running annual vintage base ball festival of its kind was renamed in honor of Daniel Lucius ‘Doc’ Adams.
