The Doc Adams Birthplace Classic is an annual (cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic) celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Daniel Lucius Adams, a base ball pioneer and native son of Mont Vernon, New Hampshire. This event is being conducted both with and for the many fine players who engage in 19th Century Base Ball in the Northeast and beyond, in support of the push for the rightful enshrinement of Doc Adams in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Note: Due to the wet weather and the inability to hay the field in preparation for Lamson Farm Day, the Doc Adams Birthplace Classic has been moved to McCollom Field at the grounds of the Mont Vernon Village School located at 1 Kittredge Road, Mont Vernon, NH. where ample parking is available. Signage will be present to forward attendees in the right direction. Follow the “Doc Adams Birthplace Classic” event page on Facebook for updates.
