More complete and accurate research has documented Doc Adams’s contributions to the advancement of the game and cemented his place in baseball history. However, efforts continue to advance the truth of the origins of the game of baseball and Daniel Lucius ‘Doc’ Adams’ role.  For too long, his accomplishments have gone without public recognition or have been credited to others. It is hoped that this Doc Adams Awareness Campaign will result in enshrinement into the National Baseball Hall of Fame where Doc can take his rightful place alongside the other baseball pioneers.
