On April 12, 2014, Marjorie Adams and Gary “Pops” O’Maxfield delivered an engaging and informational presentation on Daniel Lucius “Doc” Adams and his contributions to the game of base ball. It was delivered at SABR’s 6th Annual Frederick Ivor-Campbell 19th Century Base Ball Conference in Cooperstown. Mr. O’Maxfield, Commissioner of the Friends of Vintage Base Ball, interviewed Marjorie Adams, playing the role of her great-grandfather. It was enlightening, extremely entertaining, and very well received.
