Today marks Doc Adams’ 210th birthday! Hip-Hip-Huzzah! Hip-Hip-Huzzah! Hip-Hip-Huzzah!

Daniel Lucius “Doc” Adams was born November 1, 1814, in Mont Vernon, NH. He was the fourth of five children born to Daniel Adams, M.D. and Nancy Mulliken Adams.

So, today we celebrate Doc Adams’ 210th birthday!

Hopefully, we’ll have something else to celebrate soon as the National Baseball Hall of Fame’s Historical Overview Committee will announce the eight-candidate 2025 Classic Baseball Era ballot on November 4.

The vote will take place at the MLB Winter Meetings with the results announced on December 8. Anyone who receives the 75% required for election will be inducted on July 27, 2025, in Cooperstown, NY.
