On November 1, 2014, a birthday celebration was held at Luce Restaurant in Middletown, CT. That birthday party was in honor of the 200th birthday of Daniel Lucius ‘Doc’ Adams.

In attendance were Doc’s great-granddaughter, Marjorie Adams, Roger and Cathy Ratzenberger, Joe and Carol Williams, and Gary and Karen O’Maxfield.

It was a great event with excellent food, champagne, and birthday cake a la mode. The Doc Adams labeled wine was to be opened when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Sadly, the Doc Adams wine is still waiting to be opened.
