Annual Doc Adams Old Time Base Ball Festival (August 8-9)
The latest installment of the Annual Doc Adams Old Time Base Ball Festival will take place on August 8-9, at Old Bethpage Village Restoration.
In 2015, this longest running annual vintage base ball festival of its kind was renamed in honor of Daniel Lucius ‘Doc’ Adams. The festival is a must for baseball fans, history buffs, and anyone looking for a a day of outdoor fun.
Mark your calendar! Plan on coming down and step back in time and watch how base ball was played in its infancy.
Even if you’re not in the immediate area, it’s worth the trip. Don’t miss it, it’s fun for the whole family. This is always a great event!
