Calling For Video Shorts Supporting Doc Adams
While enjoying the festivities at the Doc Adams Old Time Base Ball Festival this past weekend, several folks mentioned they liked the videos we did last year. All of which can be found on our Multimedia page. It was a bit hectic pulling them together last year while we were focusing on raising awareness about Doc Adams during a ballot year. A lot of folks helped make those videos possible. Their time and efforts were greatly appreciated.
So, a thought came to mind about starting to pull together videos in advance of Doc Adams’ next ballot appearance opportunity. He will be eligible for the 2028 ballot which will be announced in the fall of 2027. That gives us about 15 months of preparation.
Let’s try some crowdsourcing and see if we can kick this off with a simple request. If you are reading this, it’s probably because you think Doc Adams should be a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Therefore, take an active role by submitting a short video clip (5 seconds or less) saying:
“Put Doc Adams in the Hall of Fame.”

The video can be recorded with a cell phone in portrait orientation. Anyone and everyone (fans, historians, ballists, groups, teams, etc.) is welcome to submit a video for consideration. We are looking for videos from whoever would like to participate and the more variety the better.
Submitted videos may be used individually or in consolidated projects. They will be shared via our website and social media accounts. Examples of some of last year’s “Should Doc Adams Be In The Hall Of Fame? Of Course!” videos can be found here.
You can send the videos here.
If you have any problems or have any questions, you can let us know by sending us an email.
We’ll see what kind of response we get. Stay tuned, and if all goes well, we’ll share some more thoughts over time.
Share with your friends.
Thanks for your interest in Doc Adams and your continued support!
