Ridgefield Savings Bank 100th Year Anniversary

The Ridgefield Bank was originally housed in the “One Hundred” building. That building is now incorporated into the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. A recent view can be seen below.

In 2004, the Ridgefield Savings Bank and Fairfield County Savings Bank, merged as the Fairfield County Savings Bank. Downstairs at the Main branch of the Ridgefield Savings Bank, hang the portraits of its former bank presidents led off by the well-known portrait of the banks’ 1st President, our Doc Adams.
